Pastor Sue grew up in Seoul, Korea. In the summer of 1995, she moved to the United States with her family. She graduated from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary in 1999 and received a Doctor of Ministry in Preaching from the Association of Chicago Theological Schools in 2009. Sue has been serving in the Wisconsin Conference of the United Methodist Church since 1998. 

She loves to teach children in Vacation Bible School, confirmation classes, and small-group Bible studies for adults. She and her husband, Chris, will celebrate their 36th anniversary this November 2026. They have two adult children, Min and Wesley.  They also have a dog named Carly, who has brought much joy since she came into their lives. 

During her time off, you will find her trying new cooking recipes or watching movies about grace, resilience, and redemption.
